Let’s have a look at a beautiful series of illustration by Jing Zhang about the maps of America. With the summer season hitting its full speed, this series is quite inspiring of your next road tip this year. Jing Zhang has been inspired since this is her second map projects for when she drove across America back in 2016. She will highlight some of the key architectural locations from each state mixed with beautiful colours and of course gradients!

Jing Zhang is an illustrator based in London, UK; as I quote: “who has love for cities, architecture, food, and technologies.” We’ve seen her work before on ABDZ, you should definitely follow her work on Behance.

I’ve spent four exhilarating months in 2016 visiting the biggest village on earth, the Global Village, travelling eastbound around the world with numerous interesting stops. City has its own colour palette, flavour, sound, and personality. The difference between our culture is what makes our cities so wonderful.
