Exhibition Poster Series for Centrepoint Spacesuit Collection 18
Exhibition Poster Series for Centrepoint Spacesuit Collection 18
Did you get a chance to watch the first look at Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969 in the movie: “First Man“. I thought this would be the perfect introduction for our feature of an Exhibition Poster Series for Centrepoint Spacesuit Collection 18. It’s a collaboration between many talented artists including Ryan Atkinson, James Elgie, Rijin Kunnath and RODAS ®. Imagine the conventional spacesuit into a fashion collection, what do you think?
While the likes of Chanel, Gucci and Louis Vuitton are being inspired by space — Centrepoint created a spacesuit collection inspired by earth’s trends. What will you wear to space? #representearth #spaceisthenewblack

Editorial Design: The Big Disconnect
Editorial Design: The Big Disconnect
Wes L Cockx shared a beautiful editorial design project on his Behance profile. It was for The Big Disconnect article for the Atlanta publication. The article talks about, or asks what happened to Google Fiber in Atlanta. But we are not featuring it here because of the content per se, but how the content was laid out on the pages as well as the beautiful and bold 3D text.
Below you can see some details of the final piece. In addition Wes, shared a couple “work in progress” examples of alternative designs that were tried. I always love to see those, especially because it gives a bit more perspective that people try a lot of things before landing on what they consider final.

The Incredibles 2 Campaign Illustrations by Ricardo Chucky
The anticipated Incredibles 2 will be heading to the theatres this upcoming Friday. It’s hard to imagine that the last movie (The Incredibles) was released back in November 2004. We are pretty excited for this movie and it’s kind of a celebration with this launch with the work of Ricardo Chucky. He is an illustrator and a 2D artist based in Burbank, CA, USA and he has worked on the illustration, retouching and finishing touches for the teaser campaign. Let’s check it out and where is your super suit?! 🙂
I’ve been very lucky to be able to work on this campaign. I was one of the artist that did the illustration, retouch and finishing. Thank you to Daniel Clark Creative and Disney 😉 the Poster Design is by LA and PROOF.

Black & White Photography: Kontrast 01
Black & White Photography: Kontrast 01
I am not a big fan of black & white photography, it’s more likely a personal taste in the representation of images rather than the style itself. But it doesn’t I can’t appreciate others awesome photography coming in black & white. Let’s take a look at the work of Paweł Franik who is wearing my hats from an art director, photographer, filmmaker and a motion design from Warsaw, Poland. He introduced a conceptual project in black & white images where they will be placed against each other to create a very cool and unique composition.
Kontrast 01 is a conceptual project based on the arrangement of photos against each other. Each photo presents a different space and situation. The contrast and composition of the pictures together form a geometrical form

Elegant Editorial Design for Typoforma Issue No. 1
Elegant Editorial Design for Typoforma Issue No. 1
Firman Suci Ananda and Zulfan Iskandar are designers from Indonesia and they shared this very inspiring graphics and editorial design post on their Behance profile. It is titled “Typoforma – Issue No.1” and as you can see by its name, the focus is pretty much on typography and composition. You might ask me, this looks like any other editorial post. You are right, however, this post, in particular, illustrates quite well the direction I believe the web is going to. If you pay attention to these pictures you will automatically create some comparisons with the web design work we shared here in the past from Dribbble and other publications.
So for this post, I just wanted to share a bit more of these beautiful editorial design work and hope they can serve as inspiration for your next project, hopefully, you can start translating this style to the web, even responsive.
