The Gottlieb Foundation Individual Support Grant was created to provide assistance to painters,
printmakers, and sculptors who have been creating mature art for at least 20 years and who are
currently in need of financial assistance. This is an annual award that is open to professional visual
artists from around the world. A panel of 5 experienced art professionals who are not affiliated with the
Gottlieb Foundation review applications and determine which artists will receive awards. Last year the
Foundation awarded grants of $25,000 each to 12 artists.
