Valdosta State University has had many different names throughout the decades. What was originally founded as South Georgia State Normal College in 1906 became Georgia State Woman’s College in 1922, Valdosta State College in 1950, and VSU in 1993.
But through all the changes, one thing has remained constant: a rich culture of academics, athletics, art, celebration, and community.
