#TomorrowNeedsYou: Who To Talk To If You’re Struggling With Suicide Or Other Mental Health Battles

    September 24, 2019

It’s OK to ask for help. It’s OK to talk about emotions and be in pain. Life can be painful at times, but there are resources out there to help and support you through those difficult times. You do not have to walk the path alone.

During National Suicide Prevention Month, we want you to know that if you’re struggling with suicide or other mental health battles, there are people both on campus and off that you can look to for help.

Reach out to a friend or family member, or call or text a professional resource:

    • VSU Counseling Center: 229-333-5940
    • Georgia Crisis and Access Line: 1-800-715-4225
    • National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1-800-273-8255
    • Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741

Just remember that it’s not hopeless and you are not alone.❤️

What’s your favorite place to relax on campus? 📖☀️ The National Pan-Hellenic Council is the official coordinating agent for nine historically Black Greek letter fraternities and sororities. NPHC and its member organizations have a profound commitment to providing community service and promoting the welfare of the campus and community.
