JW: The Kappa Delta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on March 31, 1979 on the Valdosta State University campus.

VSU: What is your chapter’s philanthropy or mission?

JW: The mission of our chapter is to improve the Valdosta community and the campus life at Valdosta State University through our community service, fundraising, and campus events. We also strive to work alongside other organizations to bring awareness to issues that many people are faced with as well as find ways to prevent these issues.

VSU: Tell us about your chapter.

JW: Our chapter continues to strive to make the campus more enjoyable and inclusive for all students. We as a chapter embody our fraternal ideals of inclusive, we, rather than exclusive we.
