Georgia National Fair
The Georgia National Fair is an annual event that is held in Perry, Georgia every October for 11 days. First beginning in 1990, the fair first attracted 270,000 people. Since then, an average of over 440,000 visitors every year!
At the Georgia National Fair, visitors can find a wide range of activities to do. Farmers bring livestock such as cows and sheep to compete in shows. Visitors can also taste a plethora of many delicious foods. Finally, what is a fair without amazing rides? The Georgia National Fair has plenty of rides to satisfy people of all ages. Oh, and who doesn’t love a free concert? Each night the fair hosts incredible singing groups for crowds to see. This year included the famous southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd and country singing trio The Band Perry. For those who visit Georgia in October, the Georgia National Fair is an attraction they will not want to miss!
