Hi! Today I would like to talk about my favourite subject, History. First, why do I like this subject? It is because history is a mirror to let us know the past. Another point is that history can make me think more critically when I analyse each issue. The stories behind every historical event were so much fun! That’s why I really like History.

I know that some of you may think that history is boring and horrible. But if you use a new way to learn History, you may find that it is fun.

What is your favourite subject?

  1. I LOVE HISTORY. your right, history is a way to let us know what happened back then. I also like the picture you have. You must be a “A” or “B” student in history.

  2. Hello, Leung Ho Man! I am a student at Valdosta State University and help with the STEAM lab! History is one of my favorite subjects, too! I am currently teaching 6th grade social studies in Valdosta, Georgia. I teach about Latin America, Canada, Australia, and Europe. I completely agree with your post- History is a mirror to the past! Well said! It is so much fun to analyze and critically think about important issues that are still persistent today.

  3. Good morning Leung Ho Man. I am a Valdosta State University student, part of the STEMITL lab, I too like history. I particularly enjoy reading about First Nations (Native American) history. I agree that the story behind the history is interesting to learn. Often times we miss seeing and learning from the “big picture” because we miss or even ignore the small details that make up the whole story.

This past semester I had the opportunity to teach an 8th grade class as part of my course to becoming a middle grades educator. If all works out well, next semester will be my last. I hope in January 2018 to entering a classroom and not only teaching the class content but being a positive influence in the lives of my students.

With this semester almost done, I am making plans to go to Canada for most of the summer, spending time with family and friends. Doing some work, but also enjoying some time fishing and hiking.
