Here in Valdosta, you don’t have to travel far to find some fun! We have a local amusement park, Wild Adventures, that caters to hundreds of guests year round. They have everything you need for a fun-filled day including roller coasters, shows, a water park, and seasonal attractions.
During October they host an event called “Terror in the Wild.” The park is transformed into a spooky home to a few haunted houses and scare zones filled with terrifying creatures. If you aren’t are brave, Wild Adventures during October is a great place to travel to!
Wild Adventures also is home to multiple animals that guests are welcome to interact with. They have a petting zoo where you can hang out with some goats, chickens, and bunnies! There is also a bird house where visitors can feed dozens of beautifully colored birds. Wild Adventures has a train ride that travels through Africa and Asia, showing off some of their animal life like an elephant, giraffes, rhinoceros, zebras, and dozens more!
If you ever find yourself in Georgia and want to experience a unique Valdosta staple, Wild Adventures should be on your list!
