The Hahira, Ga Bee Festival is a yearly event held in the city of Hahira at the end of September for one week. The festival this year was held from September 26 to October 1. Hahira is a small town community located just a few miles north of Valdosta. The festival was started in 1981 to liven up the city with arts, food, music, and a parade. The festival is planned every year by the work of the Honey Bee Festival Members known as the “Busy Bees”. The festival estimates that anywhere from 20,000 to 36,000 people attend the festival.

Very interesting! I wonder if Hahira has any honey industry so that they use Honey Bee as the theme of the Festival.
