Trumpet Ensemble named national semifinalists

The Valdosta State University Trumpet Ensemble was named a national semifinalist for the 2021 National Trumpet Competition in the Trumpet Ensemble Division. Thirty ensembles from around the country advanced to the semifinal round. The VSU Trumpet Ensemble performed The Barber of Seville Overture by Italian composer Gioachino Rossini.
