The Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery presents the BFA and BA graduates in Fine Arts for the Spring 2017 term. We invite you to join us in a celebration of their accomplishments on Saturday, April 15, from 1 to 3 PM.
The graduating class of spring 2017 will be exhibiting a variety of artwork including drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture and jewelry metalworking. The event is free to the public. Musical entertainment provided by the VSU Student Jazz Combo.
Creating art can be an emotional and psychological drain. It can be difficult to express an idea or meaning without any words. Others may think art is easy and merely a method of escapism from the hardships of society—it is not. Art is Hard is meant to challenge the public perception of art as a leisure. On April 15th, we welcome you to celebrate and consider the works of the art presented by these ten graduates.
The exhibit will be displayed from Saturday, April 15th through May 1st.
