Allen Nicholas Brown (BA 2021) has received a graduate assistantship to attend Oklahoma City University this fall to start a masters degree in tuba performance. Allen graduated this spring from VSU with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

While at VSU, Allen has performed with the Wind Ensemble, Valdosta Symphony Orchestra, Presidential Brass Quintet, Sonorous Brass Quintet, Chamber Singers, Concert Band, Blazin’ Brigade Marching Band, and the Hot Shots basketball band. He was a VSO Concerto Competition finalist in 2020 and was a Southeastern Regional Tuba and Euphonium Conference Mock Band finalist in 2020. Allen is from Stone Mountain, GA.
