College of the Arts Announces Honors Day Award Recipients for 2021

2021 College of the Arts Honors Recipients

Good morning –

Today is certainly and exciting day.

We extend our congratulations to the graduating class of 2021 – and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our CoA student honorees! For now, with your health and safety in mind, we are not holding a face-2-face CoA Honors event, instead, please visit the CoA Honors recognition web page:  https://www.valdosta.edu/colleges/arts/about/coa-honors.php

Next year, we look forward to returning to a “more normalized” celebration, with a goal of an in person venue.

The accomplishments of our collage and departmental honorees are certainly impressive, even more so in the past year when faced with so many challenges. We are deeply impressed by the collective work of our students, and the impact they make within the classroom, studios, stages, community and so much more. A few continuing themes shared about these honorees – their dedication, grit, perseverance, enthusiasm, and creativity. Our CoA honorees have set an excellent example for all students. We know they will continue to do great things well into the future and will represent the CoA in an admirable fashion.

My thanks to the CoA Dean’s office administrative team, for organizing and assembling the website to recognize and celebrate our outstanding CoA student honorees. Additional information and news will be shared on our CoA blog and social media pages, feel free to share!

Congratulations again. Wishing you a wonderful summer.

Please stay healthy and safe.
