The Women in Technology Summit is an annual USG-supported event that is open to all genders as it explores and spotlights efforts to bridge the diversity gap in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers, while providing an opportunity for growth, encouragement and empowerment for all those in STEM-related careers.
This year’s theme is “We’re in IT Together” with several breakout sessions covering topics such as leading in challenging times, how COVID-19 affects WIT, diversity and inclusion among WIT, and assistant/chief information officer (CIOs and ACIOs) panel discussion on leadership among WIT. Keynote speakers are Claire Evans, author of Broad Band: The Untold Story of the Women Who Made the Internet, and Amanda King, vice president and general manager of Honeywell Connected Secure Solutions.
