Application and Analytics Intern

Enterprise Applications and Analytics Interns are responsible for developing and maintaining custom programming projects, system integrations, process workflows and data extractions. Responsibilities also include the use and support of third-party solutions such as workflow utilities, e-signature form designers, and reporting solutions. Interns may be required to analyze existing processes and implementations to identify areas for improvement. Strong critical thinking and programming skills are required. Experience with relational databases, structured query language, and Oracle application development tools are a plus. Shifts range from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Friday.

Web Services Intern

Web Services Interns are responsible for developing and maintaining custom web applications, database management, and integration of data with the public website (www.valdosta.edu). Interns may be required to analyze existing processes and implementations to identify areas for improvement. Strong critical thinking and programming skills are required. Experience with web development, relational databases, structured query language and Oracle application development tools are a plus. Shifts range from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Friday.

Classroom Support Student Technician

These positions provide support to faculty, staff, and students in offices, classrooms, and labs. These positions are stationed in Pine Hall. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting faculty, staff, and students with campus technology both on-site and over the phone; maintaining VSU-owned IT equipment; troubleshooting and repairing campus technology; and maintaining and distributing campus technology to faculty, staff, and students. Shifts range from 8:00AM to 9:00PM. All applicants will be required to complete a brief, hands-on technical evaluation.
