One thing we appreciate in the Valdosta State community is those who have an unwavering loyalty and passion for making our community bigger and better. Service recognition is a great opportunity to step back and thank those people. Valdosta State takes pride in recognizing the longevity of its employees. Congratulations to:

  • Sarah Bring is a Computer Services Specialist for Classroom Support. She is celebrating 5 years.
  • Rocky Rothwell is the Network Services Engineer for the Data Center. He manages VSU’s Core Network, Data Center Network, Internet Connections, and Networking’s Servers. He works with SysOps, Workgroups, and InfoSec for their networking needs within the Data Center. He has been with VSU for 5 years.
  • Gwen Kyles began her career at VSU in 2008 and currently holds the position of Assistant to the CIO since March 2014.  In this position, she serves as office manager for IT and fulfills a comprehensive range of administrative and substantive duties to ensure the overall efficiency of the daily operations of the division. Gwen is celebrating 10 years with VSU.
  • Keisha Roberts is a Data Warehouse Information Analyst for Enterprise Applications & Analytics. She is celebrating 10 years.
