The webmaster is responsible for collaborating with the university web team in projects that enhance the website. You will primarily work on front-end web development and management/development in web content management systems, lead improvements in user experience and accessibility compliance, and provide client support for website users and university web content owners/editors.
You will also be responsible for the continued development and maintenance of University web properties including www.valdosta.edu, blog.valdosta.edu, myvsu.valdosta.edu, and mypages.valdosta.edu, providing project management for Web Team and coordinating with Associate Director of Creative Services to determine VSU web strategy. Your work is performed under the general direction of a supervisor/s.
