New VSU Password Reset Tool & MyVSU Portal Beta

The VSU Division of Information Technology is always striving to improve upon the Blazer experience. We heard your suggestions and we are pleased to introduce a redesigned Password Reset Tool and a beta version of the improved MyVSU portal.

The Self-Service Password Reset Tool

The new password reset tool is modern and allows you to change your VSU online accounts without having to contact the Solutions Center. The new Password Reset Tool includes a password strength indicator. Learn how to create a strong password to better secure your online information.

With that comes a secure, fast and easy to remember web address: iforgot.valdosta.edu.

The MyVSU Portal Beta

We launched a new and improved MyVSU in Fall 2018 and since then we have been taking all of your suggestions and concerns into account. As a result, we have implemented a beta version of MyVSU for the Blazer community to test out. The New MyVSU Beta features include:

• Side Navigation Menu

• Profile Image Upload

• Theme Picker with new Dark Theme

• New Targeted Ads

• Preferred Portal Expansion

• Professor Profiles

Details of new features will be displayed when you log in for the first time. Please provide feedback on your experience with the redesigned portal. You can provide feedback by clicking the red plus sign in the bottom right corner of MyVSU and click the red and white message icon. The current MyVSU is still available when you visit Valdosta State’s homepage. The beta version is optional.
